The Khai Dinh tomb is on a hill called Chau Chu, not far from Hue city. Construction started on September 4th, 1920, and it took 11 years to finish it. They used materials like iron, steel, cement, and special tiles from France, as well as porcelain and glassware from Japan. The tomb is not as big as some others in the area, but it’s very detailed and took a lot of time to make. It’s a mix of different architectural styles from both the East and the West.
